A BIG THANKS to everyone who attended our recent Quiz Night Fundraiser and contributed to its wonderful success. Incredibly – we raised $2,572.50!
This outcome will make a real difference in what we do. And huge appreciation also goes to all our volunteers and sponsors who made it happen – bringing everyone together to celebrate and acknowledge our blind cricketers and the work we’re doing in the BLV sports space.
And congrats to the winning team – the ‘Friday Fossils’ 🙂

The funds raised go directly toward sustaining our programs, developing new opportunities, and supporting our group to enjoy more BLV cricket – with even more sports being offered over the year ahead.
PLUS, we’re getting closer to the exciting establishment and launch of Blind Sports Tasmania in 2026!!
Special thanks goes to Wanda for her passionate efforts in attracting so many prizes and donations (over $1,500 worth!), and to Adnan for doing a sterling job in his Quizmaster debut. And also to our players and directors who attended to enjoy connecting with others throughout the night.
Thanks also to the Clarence Cricket Club and their wonderful venue team. By all accounts, with an energised room full of diversity and unity, laughter and applause, the night came together beautifully to be fun, informative, and so entertaining.
