The 2025 Tasmanian Creative Industries Diemen Awards recently took center stage at the Odeon Theatre in Hobart, celebrating excellence across the creative sector.

Among the standout awardees was Aramis Roche, who was presented with the Emerging Talent Inclusive Work Award by IIT CEO Phillip ‘Sunny’ Drury (pictured above). This prestigious award recognizes individuals living with a disability or neurodiversity who are making their mark in the creative industries.
Aramis, whose passion lies in graphic design, has successfully completed a Certificate IV in Design at TasTAFE. His dedication, creativity, and perseverance have set him apart, earning him well-deserved industry recognition.
As part of its commitment to fostering emerging talent, IIT will sponsor a mentoring program for Aramis, providing him with hands-on experience, practical industry insights, and portfolio development guidance.
This initiative aims to equip him with the professional skills necessary to navigate and excel in the creative sector.
IIT is proud to support the Emerging Talent Inclusive Work Award, an initiative designed to identify, support, and create opportunities for underrepresented talent in the industry. Without such programs, many individuals may not have the same visibility or access to professional networks and employment pathways.
Beyond the awards, all nominees are encouraged to engage with the creative arts community, attending industry events, networking opportunities, and future Diemen Awards celebrations.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Aramis for his resilience, creativity, and well-earned recognition. We look forward to seeing his talents continue to grow!
