BLV Golf Starts The Year In Style

In partnership with Blind Golf Tas (BGT), Golf Aust/Tas and Blind Golf Australia (BGA) IIT continues to contribute to the development of Blind and Low Vision Golf across the state. And what a BIG February it was in the BLV space!

2025 started with another successful Come & Try Day, with participants eager to learn BLV Golf and others interested in becoming caddies, helping players navigate a course and strike the ball effectively

Then in the same month the 2nd Blind Golf Tas Open was another hugely successful event with strong support from many players who travelled from mainland states to participate.

BLV Cricket, Tennis and Golf are now well established in IIT’s sports activity calendar of events. So we’re now developing an exciting expansion strategy to go ‘next level’, in offering people with a vision impairment even more access and choices of sports – along with the social, mental and physical benefits they bring.

So watch this space!
